"When I sit in deep silence long enough I reach a point where I rest in the stillness of my own being. In this place all things melt away and I experience the presence of God. The sweetness of Pure Spirit is revealed to me and I am welcomed home to the kingdom of I AM where all is invariably well. In this state of awareness peace exits and clarity emerges like a lotus flower from out of the muddy waters.” |

The experience with the half-smile while listening to music, mindfulness meditation provides an opportunity to watch ones thoughts of the day/moment, concerns about life from a divine viewing point –a place of absolute freedom . At a point it is possible to become detached from the physical realm. Holding the smile during meditation served me as a “lantern of light” and illuminated any dark areas to the point where they no longer were. I noticed a lightness of being as I entered into complete silence and traveled within to deep stillness.
Maintaining the smile also aided in keeping my reverent alertness, so I could witness my own stillness and experience the freedom of being God wrapped in flesh. |
I particularly choose to use specific soft piano music with deep pauses between notes, during each of my sittings. I believe it is the space between the notes which facilitates a higher awareness of our inherent silence within.
I Invite you to experience this meditation for yourself. |
