WHO IS AYIZE?

"Ask and it is given"..."Ask and you shall receive" - perhaps we have heard these
statements before. What is asking and if we are supposed to already have it then why are we asking?

As I contemplated this paradoxical question raised by a fellow student in a class at Agape some three years ago, in meditation I was told by the spirit that ASKing is awakening to the truth of who you really are and by that you are able to receive (really release from within and wittness in form) all that is your divine birthright.  In essence my spirit told me to A.S.K-Awaken Self Knowledge and all is given.  Three years later through prayer, meditation and the life visioning proccess it has evolved into the cornerstone of my ministry and practice as a Spiritual Counselor.

A native of New York City, Ayize grew up in a middle class, working home. At an early age, he began working and continued his pursuit of business into adulthood. He graduated with a degree in communications and upon graduation, he traveled and lived in Lagos, Nigeria for a year working in television and commercial production, then returning to NYC to work in film production, got married and moved to California to advance his career. He experienced success working with the likes of acclaimed directors Sidney Lumet, Spike Lee and Nora Ephron. 

After twelve years, of working in entertainment industry he began a journey to find his soul’s truth after unraveling of his life's structures (marriage, career, finances). His journey of healing and spiritual transformation through life’s darkest moments enabled him to experience the subtle calling of his authentic inner creative voice. In response to those inner urges, he enrolled in a three day spiritual painting retreat. It was the beginning of a journey of self-discovery like no other. He feels he owes his current authentic life of creativity and self-expression as an Artist to the art of inner listening and the grace of the Infinite. 

Ayize is also a graduate of the Landmark Education Curriculum for Living where he completed and coached their rigorous Introduction Leader Program. He enjoyed leading Introductions to this transformational work throughout Los Angeles. He became an Agape Licensed Spiritual Practitioner with the Agape International Spiritual Center in Culver City, CA (a trans-denominational center with over 10,000 congregants under the leadership of Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith,( author of the book Spiritual Liberation and the Audio Life Visioning Process). He continues with education credits and renewals every two years, complete with written demonstrations of his work’s effectiveness to hold the designation of his license.

Ayize currently serves within the visitation ministry, and is a lead teacher for Teens in
the Youth & Family ministry at Agape. He is a contributor to the publication Inner Visions and a regular teaching assistant for classes offered by the University of Transformation and Leadership at Agape.

He not only has a private practice in the Los Angeles area, but he also serves Miami
and New York as well. At Agape he serves within the One from the Heart Visitation
Team.  He has facilitated spiritual healing and creative expression workshops at Agape and retreat centers in Sedona, AZ. He has contributed devotionals to the publication Inner Visions and is a regular teaching assistant for self-empowerment classes offered through the University of Transformation and Leadership at Agape. He also serves monthly as clergy at the June Cobb Church of Religious Science in Los Angeles, one of the oldest metaphysical spiritual centers in the African-American community.

He is an Inspirational Speaker at churches, colleges and businesses around the country and facilitates retreats & workshops for men, women and teens on personal empowerment. He teaches meditation, affirmative prayer and spiritual principles for better living with a specialty in the power of creativity as a catalyst for growth and transformation for individuals and organizations. He is a Renaissance Transformation Artist who exhibits art throughout Los Angeles.

Ayize simply is a committed, loving being dedicated to the realization of Unity through prayer, meditation, spiritual transformation and compassionate service.
